Sometimes problems solve themselves.

If you still want to change to Electrum the easiest and safest way to do so is to make a transaction to one of your own electrum addresses.

If using electrum make sure you have a proper backup of the seed, e.g. on paper at different places and/or in digital form in an encrypted container with a reasonable strong password.
