I wanted to make this community aware of a startup launching in Mid-Late September. The current official launch date is on 9/15/14. In Mid-Late August the MerchantCoin wallet will be launched. This wallet will be able to store multiple crypto-currency. I do not have a list of the crypto-currency that will be supported yet but as soon as I do I will update this post.
The company MerchantCoin has an advocate program that for each advocate that signs up they will get an allocated amount of MerchantCoin which is the crypto-currency that MerchantCoin is launching in September. For each advocate that goes to meetups and advocates for MerchantCoin they will receive an allocated amount of MerchantCoin. When the advocate signs up we will send them material to bring to the meetups. They will need to provide proof that they attended the meetup like a picture at the meetup we have not finalized how this will work.
The goal of MerchantCoin is to signup as many business's (aka Merchants) to accept crypto-currency. Whether it be bitcoin, litecoin, blackcoin, MerchantCoin, etc.
