Julian Assange and Edward Snowden are heroes in my view. They have made us aware of the corruption of our governments, exposing the immoral and criminal acts against the very people they are supposed to be protecting.

I'm proud that I donated quite a few bitcoins back when they were much cheaper than today. I'm happy that Wikileaks has survived the government embargo, due in part to my contributions. I feel that my role in the fight against the evil that our governments have embraced is small, but thanks in part to the power of bitcoin, it has been significant.

I'm actually more of a fan of Snowden than I am of Assange.  Snowden did what he had to do to show that we are being surveilled a lot more than anyone, including other gov. people, think we are.  Assange I feel like just releases things to try to maintain an open gov. when actually I think there are some things that really do need to be secret for the gov. to adequately protect us.  The difference is surveillance on US people vs. saying everything that's going on in the gov. with regard to other countries as well.

Wow, interesting stuff right there! Yeah, I guess a lot of people just had a small stash lying around somewhere, maybe didn't even care about it anymore, only to discover that its value has grown enormously in the meantime! It's mesmerizing. Also, I think all those scams and stuff keeps the number of people down that manage to keep their stash. It's like a smoothing that happens on its own!
