i am already first now. and i was second last week. if that guy hadn't popped up with 10 BTC, i would have got around 0.25 BTC. 50% is 0.125 BTC, which according to me is a very good sum.

What are you saying? u mean bet 0.1 for 2x? if u want to increase wager, u dont bet everything. And same way u lose, u could win too.
The house edge is 1% And the bonus i give will pretty cover that.
So, u have more odds of profiting that losing.
i don't get your problem.
