Avalon power saving strategy.

I do apologize if I overlooked another post on this subject.

I am trying to squeeze some more life out of a Avalon 180GH/s tower (similar to Visionman Prospector). I am curious if anyone is aware of any software strategies to reduce power consumption. Most importantly, is there a good chip frequency chart that shows power usage and stability? I am running at 1300 right now and I'm simply not sure how low I can take that without causing otherwise unseen problems.
