EDIT: The poster below alerted me to my severe logical error.  Grin

Everyone who has been around this forum awhile should know that it's not recommended to reuse the same address over and over; instead, it's a good idea to have a different address for each transaction in order to avoid making your finances completely transparent, but there seems to be a downside to this.

We seem to be getting to the point where it is becoming harder to be included in a block. The other day I sent 5 inputs totaling 71.35 mBTC with a transaction size of 945 bytes and included the recommended fee of 0.10 mBTC and it took at least ~25 blocks or so to confirm.

My concern is that by continuing to use a new address for each transaction as I recently began doing, I'll have to pay high fees when I want to spend my many separate inputs. Am I right?

Nope.

3 outputs to a single address are still 3 outputs when you spent them.

3 outputs to 3 different addresses are still 3 outputs when you spend them.

No difference in transaction size either way.

Wow I feel stupid, I should have known that.  Smiley
