I have just finished the exam and wondered what other people thought the course was really good.

It was really in-depth and covered the ranging topics covering the Bitcoin ecosystem and origins of money.

I would definitely recommend undertaking it and I believe they run it again in October. Very interactive and the live Q + A sessions were great.

It is absolutely free - MOOC is Massive Open Online Course.

It goes in depth about the origins of currency, Bitcoin's history, tax, regulation, mining, altcoins, the blockchain and many other subtopics.

Really informative. For me, learning more about the blockchain in depth was most interesting!

Andreas Antonopoulos a teaching fellow at at university, and a leading bitcoin expert says about the new MOOC:

”It is an excellent opportunity for anyone to develop a good understanding of the technical and non-technical aspects of decentralized currencies in general and, more specifically, explore both bitcoin (the network) and Bitcoin (the currency).”

I'm glad to see the Neo&Bee scam didn't affect the decision of the university to go on with the course for another year and that they understanded the great impact Bitcoin can have in Cyprus. The population probably already forgot what happened.

It is a massive open Free online course with live sessions, questions and live interactions.

The next course begins on the 2nd of October 2014!

I would definitely recommend it because it really went into depth. I passed the exam too which was fantastic.

It looks like schools are finally getting seriously  involved.
hope more schools offer such courses to the public. People are educated in school  course and the knowledge will be accepted easily!
