Hello! I have only been involved with Bitcoin for about a week now, and someone on the forums said a good way to get some quick bitcoin cash is to go to sites like BitVisitor. But after about 4 offers, I am only getting 0.1 instead of the normal 0.8 (im not sure what it is... satoshi maybe? again, im new) is this an error on my part or is that just how the site works? please help!

I'm not that familiar with the site but seems like some kind of faucet /pay per click site and if it is you're just wasting your time. Don't bother with them. The only way to get some decent bitcoins is to earn them. Do small jobs ion the real world then buy coins with the profits if you have to.

BitVisitor relies on advertisers to advertise on their site to be able to payout users. Payments to user depend on how much an advertiser has bidded for a user to look at their site for a good 5 minutes (I think).

IMHO, faucets are a very bad way to get bitcoin. You can only get a very tiny amount of bitcoin from the sites, and you shouldn't waste your time on them at all.
The unit is probably uBTC rather than satoshi (1 uBTC = 100 satoshi), but still the rate is extremely low.

Hi,

happen to me as well, you have to wait a while, other wise you would earn too much. I also think you earn less and less while closing to withdraw limit.

P.S.
you are earning bits (also known as μBTC)

1 satoshi = 0.01 μBTC = 0.000 01 mBTC = 0.000 000 01 BTC.
or
1 BTC = 1 000 mBTC = 1 000 000 μBTC = 100 000 000 (or 1 000 000 00) satoshi

The last time I checked, BitVisitor pays around 60 uBTC.
1 satoshi = 0.00000001 BTC
uBTC = 0.000001BTC

BitVisitor is a very very very slow way to earn BTC. Try some other things Wink

Sometimes, if they run out of ads to display, they put a much lower value for the ads.

first, they have different values of each of its advertisements.
second, they will reduce the value of the ads if they start to run out of ads
so it's uncertain

If you want to earn some bitcoin, you should forget about faucets, and sell some goods and services for bitcoin instead.
You can also join a signature campaign to earn some bitcoin while posting here.
