Bitcoin is a currency or an asset depending on your viewpoints, and there is no way you can get some easy free bitcoin.
You can join a sig campaign and get some bitcoin for posting, but don't expect to get rich.

The problem with the poster's point of view is, he's strictly looking at Bitcoin as a Get Rich Scheme, not as a burgeoning technology that can also benefit you financially.

As with anything in life, only invest what you're willing to lose.  Nothing is guaranteed, especially in Tech.

As far as trying to earn Bitcoins without a million dollar bankroll, faucets is something you could've done in 2011-12 to earn BTC.  Nowadays, it's not worth it.  Mining isn't worth it either, difficulty is too high.

Best bet is to provide goods and services with BTC as a payment method.  Sell things, offer to do things, provide some sort of valuable service and get paid in Bitcoin doing it.  Only thing you can do, if you're broke.

Sadly, I have personally met dozens of people in real life thinking bitcoin is a get rich quick scheme. Sad

Spend all of your spare time doing jobs for people for Bitcoin. Well, maybe not all your spare time, but enough of it so that you can get to the point where you aren't living paycheck to paycheck. So make a list of your skills, post them in the Services subforum, and maybe somebody will hire you to do jobs for them and pay you in Bitcoin.

Keep an eye on the ANN threads and look for free distribution coins.  Usually you have to put something in your sig but they will give you free coins which you can sell for BTC.  I've made prob .2 btc doing this with a couple of different coins.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0

Also get your member rank up by posting in threads and sign up for a sig campaign.

You can always make extra cash on the side of flipping stuff, or doing something extra.

And use that money to buy btc.

How in hell im supossed to get BTC if im going from bill to bill? I dont have any spare BTC, faucets are jokes, and I cant risk my savings into BTC (small savings anyway).

This is what 99% of people i've talked about conclude with, so they end up ignoring the whole BTC thing, since their (our) life will go on the same as it is now.

Selling goods or services.  BTC is a form of money.  You have to do something for it buy/mine are most common.  But selling goods or services are your best bet of no extra cash.

Or there are signature campaigns to once you have been around a while.  Can start with a older miner for fun to learn.

You have to do extra jobs, that's the only way, you can't get It for free. For example offer something that you are good at on the internet and have more knowledge than others or just work in real life and do some extra jobs and buy BTC for what you earned.

Then read the replies to this thread from others as there is some good advice in here. Remember, if you want something you have to work for it as money usually just doesn't come for free. Put in the work and use your brain and you'll likely be rewarded.

Don't know what to say, majority always have tendency not to accept new things, while once the majority realize its value, it is too late..
