Not sure if they play this segment often but it is always good to get some more exposure in Europe.

Some government stooge mentions in it that "the number I heard was that 20% of all narcotics transactions went through Silk Road".

According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illegal_drug_trade narcotics are 1% of global trade.

So...Bitcoin has reached .2% of all global trade?

Global trade being $36 trillion.

So...Bitcoin is being used for about $700 billion worth of trade...in drugs alone!

I saw this advertised, is it worth digging up for a watch? considering their recent anti-btc sentiment id bet not, but never know...

incidentally i happen to see an episode of (ahem) 'the good wife' on tv this week where they were chasing the identity of the creator of btc: they dubbed him 'mr bitcoin'. crap show, but amusing that they would even consider doing it in the first place since it was done in 2012 (also had the guy from american pie in it, turns out he was -spoiler-)
