There are quite a few places that accept bitcoin airline wise. Googling for airlines that accept bitcoin will give you a wide range of websites that offer this service, it really depends on what you are looking for price wise. I would be very careful though and also check any reviews for any sites you check out before dealing.

If most airlines would accept BTC, that could really boost BTC popularity, right ?

Expedia accepts Bitcoin, since August if I'm not mistaken. So indirectly I guess you could pay any airline company with Bitcoin using them.

The airlines aren't accepting bitcoins the flight bookers are accepting the bitcoin.

Not really, airBaltic in Latvia was the very first airline accepting bitcoin payment last July.

As panju1 mentioned, Air Lituanica starts to accept bitcoin payment as well lately.

Airlines or booking/ticketing services? I think there's been a report on some meta-booking-service where you could pay with Bitcoin. That way you can effectively book any flight in existence!

I should have gotten into Bitcoin back in 1992...

I believe you are talking about Expedia.

And for you information, the company has done more bitcoin sales than their estimate. Smiley
