Hi,

I have a friend (Brazilian) who would like to acquire roughly $10k in BTC for cash some time in the next week. She'd be paying in Brazilian Reals. She's in Brazil currently.

Any suggestions?

There's a bunch of Brazillian sites on the bitcoin wiki

No idea if they could handle that much
