That is so inspiring to me. Use it or lose it. There really must be something to not thinking like a victim and just doing something productive daily whether ya feel like or not. Great story.

Lucky guy. I hope I'll live up to 101, and that I will still be able to work by then.
Hey, it's better to work than to lie in a hospital bed watching TV all day.

I used to be a citizen and a taxpayer. Those days are long gone.

That's probably the only thing the poor guy can do to keep his sanity in a world that's gone completely crazy. In the immortal words of 'Red' - He's just institutionalized, that's all.

It is actually the bitcoin crowd who actually went insane for trying something so mind boggling and think bitcoin will change the world.

It won't be too long before the all the important figures in bitcoin community start disappearing and go to jail as it already started to happen.

studies do show that people who continually challenge their mind live longer. i really would not want to retire in my life, i would like to keep working too. ther eis a village of centurians in china who are all 100+ years old and still go out in the fields and farm and work everyday.

This is true. A lot of the diseases that kill people somehow affect the brain and your mental ability to carry out tasks. It has been shown that if you "exercise" your brain then it will be healthier and less vulnerable to these kinds of diseases.

In this case I think he really loves his job more than anything else
Passion never dies but still 101 that is impressive they probably told him to retire a few times over by now.
It was a very short article though.

Found a second source

Goldman, who still drives himself to work four days a week from Whippany, said he had no plans to retire from Capitol Lighting in East Hanover.

"Not yet," he said. "I'm looking to get to 105 to retire."

According to Lebersfeld, Goldman credits his longevity to his dedication to the company and his work ethic. Lebersfeld said when a snowstorm dropped 12 inches of snow this past winter, Goldman was the first one to work that morning.

When another employee asked him how he had gotten to work, Goldman simply told him that he simply got up early to shovel his car, Lebersfeld said.

I don't know this man, but love him! Happy Birthday and many more! Definitely the generation that my parents were from. And they know hard workers when they see them. God has blessed him so much!

Shame he still hasn't retired because of wage theft and debt slavery.

Bet he's still trying to pay back his college debt.
