New to this - How do shares or your score = BTC?

Topic. I've been running about 212 mHash for over 12 hrs now. All it tells me is my score and my shares. Do I have to convert these to BTC somehow? Or have I just not waited long enough? Thx.

I think it depends on the type of the pool, or if you are solo. Cuz it seems pool can do pay-per-share, or something else.
