A well-funded VC backed Bitcoin start-up are raising the roof and looking to hire a VP of Engineering to help them grow
Your role as a VP of Engineering will include leading the current team (5) and help the company to provide security systems on cryptocurrency developer apps that are truly ground breaking!
Tasks will include:
Having full leadership responsibilities for strategic direction, engineering and technical operations.
You will help to be the champion of best practices for agile, design patterns and test-driven development
You will work closely with the Cofounders and Product Manager to help create a new API

● Have demonstrated 4+ years of experience building large-scale technical applications
● Have a strong understanding of software development life cycles
● 8+ years of software development
● Experience with ruby on rails, javascript, linux, postgres/mysql, open source software, and AWS
● Experience Focusing a large API
● Security / crypto / PKI experience major bonus
● Heavy coding and engineer mentorship. Not a full time leadership position but you will need to be a leader through technical execution and process.
