Currency is an optimal way to transmit information from consumers to the manufacturer of goods.

Forget about the complications and negatives of living in a moneyless world for one second, but don't you think humanity could finally advance?
It's impossible at current civilization development stage, so no sense in this question. You won't understand how to live in such world, just like cave man won't understand the modern society.

Even socialist republics are using money to maintain the delivery of information about the requirements which should be fulfilled.

there could be a point based system which accredits your education, knowledge, skills, work done, achievements etc into state regulated profile that is then lets you have access to better job, services, items, holidays etc according to your staus. though if you are disabled or unable to work then you can still receive basic support - being disble dont make you useless though, can still do education, art, music, phylosophy or whatever. able people that dont want to work should get help and encouragement or even punishment if needed. basically it would be a some form of socialist system. so yeah moneyless system in 21 century digital world is quite possible in theory, though in practice only if the international banking kabal system is toppled and some wars are fought over then we could get there within 10-30 years or so. but people infected with greed and corruption will have to be taken care of or/and rehabilitated somehow.

If there will be no money in that world there has to be something else similar to money.Like in the movie 'In Time' it was shown that time is used as money. There will always be something in money spot even if it's not actual money itself.

Money is a useful tool to have. If I brought back a deer from hunting and I offered somebody part of the meat if he'll help me cook it, he might be like, "No way, I don't like venison and anyway I'm roasting a rabbit I caught." The idea of money probably came about because people were getting a lot of that, so they decided they needed some kind of a place-holder they can use to exchange goods and services that are available now for goods and services that might be available later.

Can anyone recall the concept of sharing?

Working together?  For the betterment of everyone?

Anyone?

Jesus, I don't believe you are in any position to be so condescending, besides if you actually read every post in this thread I think you'd find the answer is, yes.

Why did you interpret my words as condescending?

A monetary system is the opposite of sharing.  Money constricts humanity's progress and is the cause of all that is wrong today.

Money enslaves us, only once we share will we find true freedom, only once we share will we find true peace, for to attain true freedom and inner peace, we must realize we are all one.

Because you act like you are above us and assume that no-one here understands the concept of sharing and co-operation, or even what a monetary system is for that matter. Granted most of the posts in this thread expressed a belief in the need of either a monetary or barter system, but once more if you actually read every post you would see that there is a few of us here who feel differently.
