So i'm trying to understand how hierarchical deterministic wallets work.  My main question at this point is which program or wallet software can i use to manage my bip32 wallet.

I'm playing with an opensource software that uses BIP32 multisig, which asks you to have a BIP32 Extended Key - which i've created.  The problem is I'm having a hard time understanding where/how i can manage the wallet to see and move funds.

I read that Electrum allows for importing BIP32 Extended Keys but I've tried it and haven't had much success.  Could I be doing something wrong at Electrum? I've been trying to import the extended key but haven't had much success.

Is there another software i can use to manage my HD bip32 wallet?

BIP32 multisig addresses are only supported in Electrum 2.0.
See the release notes.
