The Meme Racing site now has a search feature.

We're also looking at the suggestions that come in through "We like dog food: How can memeracing.com be improved?".

The input box that will only record 140 characters now shows how many characters you've used.  Thanks to ... someone ... for suggesting that.

You can now edit your prompts and answers as long as your session doesn't time out and no one has reserved them.

Two of the many entries in the "Suggestion Box" prompt were to provide some proof that people can actually earn bitcoin.  Memeracing supported some of the answers to this prompt in an effort to address these suggestions.  In fact, the first place entry in the first contest has been determined and it was one of those two answers.

We don't yet have any official plans to sponsor a race each month, but that's only because we like to fly by the seat of our pants.  You can expect us to sponsor suggestions because it's in our self interest to do so.

As a security measure, the payouts are manual, so I wanted to announce that the first contest is complete (see the link above), and that the payouts have been made, in the amount of almost $100 worth of bitcoin.

I get notices if anyone responds to this thread, so it will be useful for support.  If you have suggestions for improvement, please go ahead and make an entry in the contest or, if your idea is already there, consider backing it.  As the FAQ explains, whenever there are at least ten backed answers at the same level (notice the winning answer is now on a new level), we'll get a new contest, and that means more bitcoin for the folks who created the seven-out-of-ten that are randomly selected, and also for those who backed the best of those seven.
