The Valentina Rugby Club was founded in January 4th of 2014 by a group of friend that already known the sport and also had training in others clubs. These girls decided join together to create a new club where all players and sponsors share the same ideals and goals. The Valentina Rugby Club it is the first and unique club that exists only to the Female Rugby. The home of the Valentina Rugby Club it is the ABC, metropolitan region of São Paulo.
Using the gold and purple, the team is represented by a shield and a viking woman. Since the first training the Valentina Rugby Club continues “conquering” new players. The coaches Fred Bach and Ricardo Andrade had always participating as a significant part in the development of the team.
The Rugby Principles are priority but, besides that, the major merit is for each Valente (as the players call each other). With dedication, commitment and honesty do not allow the true values of Rugby to be forgotten.
Nowadays the Valentes continous wondering sponsors and acknowlegment. The team already “conquer” a uniform full sponsored, a Gilbert Ball “Rugby World Cup 15”, feature on the IRB site, almost 15 girls per training and a teaser video that shows and divulge the Valentina Rugby Club.
