Is it that easy to accept bitcoins as a store owner? With my tablet and a mobile wallet? How fast will that work as described here: https://yacuna.com/blog/accept-bitcoin-small-businesses/?

I'm not clicking on that link but it is very easy to accept btc and as easy as having a tablet. You don't even need a tablet really. You could just have a qr code or something.

But the tablet will show me when a payment arrives in time. The QR code is mandatory and redirects to my wallet (which is installed on the tablet). Or how can I check if a BTC is deposited if not using a tablet live in my local store?

You could just get them to show you their phone and that they've sent the payment, but it would be easier to just have a phone or tablet, but it's not essential for the process wbut would make it easier. You can get text/email notifications as well.

Depends on how you want to go about doing it. If were for me i would set up a counter with a large qr code displayed there and the customer can just scan to initiate payment. From here you can always leave open the screen showing your blockchain page and from there track individual transaction. That's the least of your problem though. There are other issues.

PoS for bitcoin is actually fairly simple. OR you can simply sign up a merchant account with bitpay.

lets say you made the bitcoin address
12c6DSiU4Rq3P4ZxziKxzrL5LmMBrzjrJX

you can easily go to https://blockchain.info/address/12c6DSiU4Rq3P4ZxziKxzrL5LmMBrzjrJX
and see the qr code on your tablet, show it to customers and then watch that page autoupdate when a payment is received.

you can also right click and print out that QR code and maybe laminate that qr code piece of paper and stick it on your cash register as a manual method of displaying to customers so that you do not have to hand them a tablet PC, (always having the QR code on display basically)

and then from the tablet thats always facing you or from a smart phone you hold, you simply use it to watch for payments.

yes it is that easy to accept bitcoin. the hardpart is deciding do you keep it for retirement investment, or cash out

If you want just simple system, you just need QR Code (bitcoin address) & tell the price in bitcoin
But, if you seriously accept it, you can use some merchant service like bitpay / some script(usually used for small digital goods seller)

But, you need prepare yourself because bitcoin price is not stable & prepare emergency money if bitcoin price is fallen down extremely

Save yourself a lot of hassle and sign up for a BitPay account. It takes about 5 minutes.

As a small business you are not charged a fee (last I checked).

First seastead company actually selling sea homes: Ocean Builders https://ocean.builders  Of course we accept bitcoin.

Yes, you should seek help from service providers like Bitpay. Way better and easier.
They'll take care of the risk (fluctuation) of btc price.
