Hello, today i got a mail from block chain telling me i've got 2x 4 BTC transactions to my wallet. which of course i knew right away i didn't, but i checked my wallet anyway, no BTC.

any1 got something familier ?

Sometimes I will get messages from transactions that happened days before. Dont know why they just cant send it once, but today, I received a notice of some coin that was sent a few days ago, this happens quite frequently.

Sometimes I will get messages from transactions that happened days before. Dont know why they just cant send it once, but today, I received a notice of some coin that was sent a few days ago, this happens quite frequently.

Thing is…i've never got a 4 BTC transfer on my account.

this is fake email
check again your account if you have btc it for sure got stolen
because hacker now have your pass and email
check again the link you have recieved in message its fake one.

i never clicked on the mail and i don't use block chain as a wallet, i only used it once to buy a local thing hehe Smiley

I agree that it is likely a fake (phishing) email. I don't think there is a lot of risk in clicking on any link in such email (although it would validate that the attacker has a valid email), although I would only recommend doing so if you have at least an intermediate ability to secure your computer. I would think the result would be that you would be taken to a website that asks for your blockchain identifier and password, and when you put it in the site will capture the information and take you to the actual blockchain website

1. check the sender Email. Emails from blockchain.info are from (no-reply@blockchain.info)
2. never click on any link in the Email
3. Bookmark the site address which links to wallet  its like ..../wallet
4. always open the Bookmark and double check the address
5. Enable 2FA
additionally you can enable sms so the transactions will be sent via sms to you "immediately"

also the will inject the virus in your computer by opening the attachment files in your pc or Mobiles they will stole your all privacy file ans secret documents
