If you know who I am, and know my history, then you should know I’ve done a lot for the community and in the name of making it better, safer and trying to help point out how it CAN continue to grow or continue its decline (most don’t listen despite about everything I’ve predicted over a decade having come to fruition. I’m not trying tear down, I’m trying to now help rebuild. ( I do appreciate your kind words and that does mean a lot as I’ve worked hard to become an active helpful member of the community /hobby). That said, I will always speak my mind. If I felt Krogo, Alpen Coinn, or say Kialara did or were doing something I see as shady, despite being very good friends of mine I would. (myself and Mopar helped get Alpen coins company off the ground and help support and drive sales for him and for the hobby, id say he’s done quite well ). I’ve done this for quite a few coin makers. Cold Keys, Yogg was one of my very best and closest friends. I helped him a lot too but when he did what he did I was vocal, had a phone call w him, fought to get him to try and right wrongs but he didn’t heed my advice. Had he, the community would be better off today than where it is.
Your idea rubs me wrong in a few ways. One, continuing key making and funding is going to end this hobby (essentially) , it’s going to end the grading of our collectibles and it’s going to ensure that Stacks and Heritage etc stop allowing sales ( this is already inevitable. Anyone who doubts this doesn’t “get it”).
No OG collector thinks what im doing is trying to divide or destroy the community. Sure to noob collectors I might look and feel a bit like some OGs when I collected at first. I’ve become @owlcatz, a grumpy collector tired of nonsense and speaks his mind. (Owl has since become a close friend and I get why he was like that.
OG collectors are leaving because of what I’ve pointed out. The scamming, the rug pulling, realizing their collection is worth a fraction of what it would be in btc value terms. The annoyance of seeing more funded items being made, and purchased. The inevitable fact that at least 30-40% will become rug pulls. They understand why we study history in school..I’m not sure you do.
You aren’t first , or second with this idea..OgNasty was. I’m not gunna go deep in to that, besides say many feel it’s a scam, I personally felt it was a great idea but not financially or economically viable long term.
You haven’t guaranteed divided just proposed it. Thats misleading marketing. Also, to offer such a product, here in the U.S. you have to be registered and regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission. Are you? Will you be? As a long time advisor , bud, I know exactly what you’re trying to accomplish and “get it”. If you don’t think I do then you don’t know me at all or my history here.
It’s a lovely idea n theory, though illegal, misleading and inevitably set to fail. History will once again show repeat itself here.
I'm fully aware of who you are. I know of your intentions, and I sympathize. To be clear, just because you've been right in the past doesn't make you a fortune teller. You may think you are protecting the community by dismissing me, but you are not. Your claim against me is based only on superstition and the fear you have of the past repeating itself. Let me state the obvious: I am not the past.
I'm aware that OG Nasty was the first to do something like this. I'm also aware of the legal side of this and the red tape. I have done nothing illegal, nor will I. It would be quite foolish of me to do so, especially since I'm so open about who I am and my position.
I'll tell you this: where there is a will, there is a way. There is a reason I have not released this tier to the public, but that doesn't mean that I won't. You've obviously been down this rabbit hole enough to know as much as I do. You do understand what’s at play here. I'm happy you are well-informed and educated on the subject.
To reiterate myself, let me just say this: my offering is legitimate. My ambitions are legitimate. My work is legitimate. My intentions are legitimate.
If you want to see this become a reality because you believe it is such a “lovely idea,” then help create it instead of blindly accusing me of falsehoods or condemning it to fail. You could help make all of this a real thing if you decided to truly pursue it. I am truly pursuing it. Will it take time? Yes. Is there a means to do it? Yes. Is it easy? Certainly not.
I'm going to keep building on it, developing it, and discovering things no one knows in order to make it work. I'm also not going to go about it exactly the same way as anyone else. I've done my homework. What you mention is true but misguided. Just because others have failed doesn't mean I will not succeed.
Anyone who buys my coins and supports this idea is investing in a person who is obsessed with making all of this a reality. If the community comes together on this, we could create a wildfire—not just for us, but for the world.
Regardless, my offering is what it is, and I make that clear. There is nothing about it that isn't evident. So to suggest I'm selling something I'm clearly not, or to say I'm deceiving or lying about my offering, is only a lie you've told yourself. I'm very transparent about it and clearly state what my offering is. Did you forget how I mentioned the disclosure?
**Disclosure:** The perpetual aspect of the coins is currently undergoing test trials. As such, no additional rewards will be issued at this time. However, should the trials prove successful, I plan to introduce this innovative tier of physical Bitcoins to the community.
At the end of the day, I believe in all of this enough to pursue it alone. I'll build it for myself, and I'll extend the offer, as I will continue to do with all my offerings. You're support would be nice and very much appreciated, although it's not 100% needed.
