Firstly may be it is not right Bill Gates may be - there are a lot of identical names and surnames  Grin And may be if this is exactly Bill Gates Twitter account - someone from his public relations emplyees take care of that.

It has worked for me in the past as well, I also tipped Rihanna / DalaiLama/ Google/ Russel Brand/ Ricky Gervais - yesterday.

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the world, and lose his own soul?

Anyone tip Obama or Putin or ... Yet?

I sent 50,000 bits to Medvedev (MedvedevRussiaE). He hasn't collected yet. https://twitter.com/doctorgoss/status/542868594124529665

Looks like all that bitcoin will be gone to waste. They would probably not collect it, else we will have threads here, Obama accepted my tip Smiley

Now that's a new idea, tipping a bajillionaire.

It is a very *strange* idea , but I think it will attract much attention of bill gates (or at least I hope it).

I have finally got the balls to admit it....

I bow down before you.
What you have done is so simple yet so powerful.
And I wasn't the one that did it.
You were.

He's a billionaire. Spoiler, tipping him a few dollars isn't going to get his attention.

Remember Aaron Swartz, a 26 year old computer scientist who died defending the free flow of information.

In this particular case, I think it would have a marginal effect on his attention span Tongue
Just like hmm something I don't have although since Microsoft just started accepting bitcoin in the windows store
