It won't sync Cry

Here is the error:

"com.google.bitcoin.store.BlockStoreException Corrupted block store: could not find chain head

Little help?

Forgive my petulance and oft-times, I fear, ill-founded criticisms, and forgive me that I have, by this time, made your eyes and head ache with my long letter. But I cannot forgo hastily the pleasure and pride of thus conversing with you.

I have not tried the fix below myself but it might be worth considering

You should be able to regenerate the blockchain file that is causing the problem as follows:

1) Shut down MultiBit
2) Delete the file: C:\Users\Family\AppData\Roaming\MultiBit\multibit.spvchain
3) Start up MultiBit again

It will then resync (which should take a couple of minutes or so).

This makes a lot of sense because it is saying it can't load multibit.spv.

Before I delete it...what is it Huh

Thanks dude!

You will have a single default wallet created, called multibit.wallet. You can create new ones using the 'Create Wallet' button and doing a save into your USB drive. You will be using a locally stored blockchain (called multibit.spvchain). Shouldn't have deleted that one.

I haven't deleted it yet...Now I'm getting mixed signals Huh

So to summarize it says I am unable to load multibit.spvchain.  If I just go ahead and delete this file, will it generate a new one once I restart the wallet?

Hopefully, but make a copy of the original before you start in case anything goes wrong.
