Well, for me it's already quite a while that I'm not farming ETH at all, moreover I don't mine via GPU for the long time already. I'm trying to work via CPU mining which is much more useful for me now.

There are numerous of mineable altcoins born everyday, but to choose which of them are profitable i will look into coinwarz website to find out , as of now i am able to mine electroneum since the difficulty rate is not that much higher but soon will have to switch to another altcoins that are profitable enough and high market volume.

PoS will mine 50% and POW will decrease from 100% to 50%, but if ETH price will make x2 - POW mining will have profitability the same to now. I beleive in $2000 for 1 ETH because big investors will buy much ETH for masternodes

It seems to me that this will be a very important event for ETH. Maybe it will force the price to rise several times. But I'm not sure that the transition to the POS will take place in 2018. Vitalik does not say the exact dates but I think that this will not happen until 2019. I guess many miners will mine ETC and MUSIC.

I think both mining and staking are profitable since those who wants to stake have to buy Ehereum and it will also give a push for the price to grow because scarcity will kick up and there will be few Ethereum that will circulate in the market plus the increasing demand for gas on transferring tokens.

Eth price already jumped many times) Everybody who have money for master node already bought it) it was under 300 usd for a very long time, and this information about POS on eth started very long ago. I think they want to protect themselves from asics. I heard a rumor that asic for eth was almost ready)
