I've just set up an Antminer S1 using a brand new 850 watt Corsair PSU. I am using the paperclip method to keep it running. After about 5 hours of mining I have not seen the fan move at all on the PSU. If I restart it, the fan will spin slowly for about two minutes before coming to a halt. I know this model of PSU has a zero rpm feature and the fan will only kick in when it gets really hot. I am a bit worried as it is brand new and am wondering if the paperclip method interferes with the fan in any way? Thanks for any help!

UPDATE: Thanks for the quick reply! I guess the single Antminer just isn't loading the PSU enough, but the fan eventually kicked on and cooled it down for a few mins. Problem resolved, mods can lock this thread

If you're only powering a single s1 you won't have the fan kick on, so you 're good to go
