USING 30amp DRYER pLUG and 6-20r connectors 240v help

what is the easiest way to tie psu's that are 240 capable into these two types of plugs?





obv i will need multiple of any type of outlet you guys tell me i need because they can handle more amps. (power strip like setup also portable is great)

I need something that is easy. simple legal and up to code (I am in usa)

I am also a big fan of pre-wired stuff even if it costs a little more. I feel its safer at time. If there are multiple components I will need that the already sell I would rather goes this route as long as it is not small fortune.

The dryer cord is a 10-30r plug. it is shappen like a V on the prongs. The prongs are completeley straight and not curved. You keep sending photos of curven prods sir and clearly as the photo above shows they are not curved. Thank you for help please lmk additional informaiton Thanks.

Yes, your standard pc power cable is a C13 because it only has the female (C13) to the standard 120V wall plug. The cables you are looking at work on the PDU so you need the C14 male that plugs into the PDU and the c13 female that plugs into your PSU.

This is my suggestion, and assumes that you or a friend are capable of safe, reasonably simple electrical work:

1) if you want to use the PDU, you will have to swap the outlet for an L6-30. Pretty much any and every PDU uses it.  (208V and 240V are effectively the same function and polarity, most stuff is rated 200-250V). This is pretty simple and will cost about $220 total ($150 for PDU and $30 for the outlet, plus tax/shipping/etc).

2) use the 6-20 connectors. These are pretty easy to wire up, and are the same layout as the exsing dryer plug (each blade is a live wire, ground is the pin). you could get a gangbox that fits two outlets and wire it quite easily. you might need an extra foot of 30A wiring to set the receptacles up in parallel, and make sure you clearly mark them as being limited to a total of 30A. (In fact, I would limit them to 13A each to give some headroom). Cost is around $40 ($10 per receptacle, $10 gangbox/cover, taxes, etc)

Whatever method you choose, be very careful with the interconnecting cables. Many "cheaper" offerings on sites like ebay have been selling copper cald aluminium (CCA, CCAW) cables. Whilst they work well for most computer power supplies and monitors, etc, when they work to supply miners at full power, they can heat up and even catch fire. Make sure they are solid copper or have a high rating. This is a large problem for cat5, cat5e, cat6 etc cabling and of recent, now on the power side also.
