Looking to wire a server psu, the 2 000bb
It has four out puts.
pcix has 3 pins needing power.
should I wire all three power pins off a single channel.
or span then so each wires on its own psu channel?

I'm leaning towards one or two plugs per channel?
Unacceptable

Yeah, no way I'm paying that sort of money to replace some sodlering I could do at home,

I'm just unsure if I want to put a miner on each rail, or use multiple rails per miner and spread it around.
I'm leaning to each miner it's own Rail.

That being said, For powering miners, such as the Prisma, do all 8 plugs need to be used? or one per board etc?
So many damn wires lol.

It's better to pay some bucks then burn your house...

Just my opinion...

On a prisma I would use all 8. I have a tube and use all 8.

As far as PSU's, sidehack sells 750W server PSU's for like $60. I have 8 of them and they are by far the best ones I have.

You would think, Unless your Job involves building electronics and wiring aircraft which runs at 300Volts or greater, and a retarded level of amperage...

Than I feel safer with my own built item's than someone elses, I dislike running 1000+ watts over pcb traces, when at all possible.

Thanks for the tip on using all 8. I have 4 outputs so I figure I could run one to each board, using two plugs.

I keep seeing people using one of the dps-2000BB for two prismas, but that seems a stretch to me.

That is 4 gauge wire, and it gets nice and warm at full amperage. Smiley
