If you've set up a website with one of those hosts that accept Bitcoin payments, how do they stack up as far as reliably staying up most of the time and handling a fair amount of traffic? Reason I ask is that I'm starting to serious about that jobs board idea I posted about in another thread.

Does it matter whether a webhost provides excellent service relates back to what type of payment currency you decide to use? Or should I put it this way... does it mean paying with bitcoin ensures you will get top notch service? For me, it's the same and whether you get reliable web hosting depends on the reputation of the hosting provider.

I used to maintain website at namecheap. Yeah, other than being a registrar they also provide hosting. And lately they have also included bitcoin as payment method. You might want to check it out.

I am satisfied with Bitronichtech.net

But ya...service is not different just because they accept Bitcoin. But I do like that at any time I could stop my service by simply not paying my monthly bill (instead of going through a process to get it stopped, and they keep charging my credit card).

First seastead company actually selling sea homes: Ocean Builders https://ocean.builders  Of course we accept bitcoin.

I've been pretty happy with namecheap. You might want to give them a try. I use their shared hosting for $20 and I don't think they've ever had any downtime since I've been using them. I'm about to renew and it's going up to $80 I think but that's still not too bad.

I wasn't really saying that I expect to get better service just because I want to pay with Bitcoin. Just that I've been bopping around looking at web hosts and I wanted to see what everybody thought of those web hosts that aren't HostGator or GoDaddy (AFAIK neither of those two take Bitcoin). But thanks for the suggestions.

At http://besthostfree.com, we manually accept bitcoin payment. If you are interested, u may like to leave me a PM. Here is our reputation thread where forum users have discussed their experience with our service => https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=617213.0
