The admin's don't delete or lock accounts so your best bet is to just forget about the account and abandon it. You could also sell it for a little btc if you wanted.

This, if you are 100% sure you want to leave the account, just change the password to something that is incredibly secure that you won't remember.

Change the Email to an Email address which isn't existent. Also change the password to a word you never can remember on and never browse again on https://bitcointalk.org/index.php

I think the OP would delete all his actions as if he had never been registered here , but I don't think it is possible ( or better it is possible but theymos will  never do this).

They probably won't ban you under request , it's not LF or HF here. it's a big professional forum so basically if you want to leave this forum , simply don't connect anymore to it .  but you still can contact an theymos or Badbear to be sure .

He can manually delete everything, wouldn't be the first person to do so.

Yes, but copies of whatever is deleted are stored, just in case.

Interestingly he has made another post 3 hours after creating this thread, so he probably has re-discovered the usefulness of his account. Smiley

Maybe a good reason why accounts shouldn't be deleted. People can always change their minds at a later date (or even three hours later  Grin).

I'm only sticking around if I can my damn "New RBox"es to work or I'm gone. That's why I posted in the Awesome Miner thread, hoping I could get them to work through that and CGMiner; but I can't even get any devices to show up. MultiMiner finds my devices (except my gridseed) but the RBoxes apparently hate BFGMiner because they only mine at 20GH/s when they should be doing 100+ GH/s.

Done with this forum. Goodbye all.

No clue what "New RBox"es are, but Dogie has a tonne of useful threads regarding various miners, he might be able to help you, or someone in the thread can help.  Got me up and running months back within a couple days of posts in the thread on cube miners.

Here is a link to one of his threads with a list of equipment he covers: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=829903.0

Yep, been up and down his RBox thread and nothing. Apparently Rockminer wanted these to only work on CGMiner (I'm using MultiMiner with a BFGMiner backend) and I can't get CGMiner to work on my computer. It's come to the point where I may have to just buy two Rasberry Pis (one for the Rockminers and one for the gridseed I can't get to work either) and use Minera or something as the controller.

Done with this forum. Goodbye all.
