Hey, post your ideas of what Bitcoin allows you to do that otherwise was unfeasible.

I'll start.

#1 Pirate's treasure
You can bury in the ground a durable tag with a wallet privkey. What unique you can add funds to the treasure all the time without even touching or visiting its physical representation.

#2 Divine rule
You can bind actions to events in the blockchain. Like a program can pay your rent when any bitcoins come to it's address. Or more complex economic things like restocking your store when things are seen sold by receiving payments for them. Finance could become as easy as taking strategic control and automating the tactics with clever scripts.

#3 Untracable style (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0880578/) murders
Bitcoin payment based voting via website with webcam feed for whether someone lives or dies

(It's only a matter of time before someone does this. Mark my words.)

Start my own business with zero overhead. In the "real world", the companies I've helped launch all required me to sell off major equity just to pay lawyers and accountants. With Bitcoin, there's none of that nonsense.

I actually first heard of bitcoin when an acquaintance of my mentioned hearing of a death match in which bitcoin was the currency of choice for wagers, so you're not far off there...

It may take something like this before people start watching for the signs of sociopathy and intervene instead of leaving abnormal behavior to professionals.

Any significantly advanced cryptocurrency is indistinguishable from Ponzi Tulips.
