Why would you send first to a guy with no feedback / trust? And accepting that amount of paypal from a newbie... this should end well.

Maybe you misunderstood me... I'm trying to help you out. Check the feedback of the guy who you are buying from. You send first and there is a good chance he disappears with your funds and you're left having to chargeback.
Couple of warning signs:
Check his previous posts for awhile ago. You'll see "paypal is bad" type of comments.. and now he decides to sell for paypal.
