It's ironic that you mentioned that. Last I saw about an hour ago seems to indicate that everything is intact with the funds still staying put in the account.

That for sure a lot of speculation:
Like I see it, the holidays just fucked around with the price. There was pretty low volume the last 2 weeks(at least on kraken), so not much movement. Also pretty small walls. So, I guess, somebody just saw the opportunity to fiddle with the price.

No one knows.
Last year price wasn't 280 usd, even with holiday.
So, it's only speculation or a slow death
