The past few months I have been hearing the media talking about Bitcoin 2.0. I have a few questions for the Bitcoin community about this new Bitcoin 2.0.
1. is it true. Are we going to have a Bitcoin 2.0 this year 2015?
2. when in 2015 Bitcoin 2.0 will come out?
3. Can I use my current Bitcoin mining equipment (Bitmain Antminer s3+) to mine for the new bitcoin 2.0.
4. what the trade value will start off for the new Bitcoin 2.0?

Where did you hear that? Maybe you mean Altcoins or coinspiracy theorys but actually there will not be an original Bitcoin 2.0.

It clearly says that the currently highest (but unstable) version of Bitcoin Core is 0.10.0rc1
That's not even near 2.0.

This isn't going to go well.

1. is it true. Are we going to have a Bitcoin 2.0 this year 2015?

No.  We don't even have Bitcoin 1.0 yet.  We are still on Bitcoin 0.10

I doubt we will have Bitcoin 1.0 in the next 5 years, so Bitcoin 2.0 is probably decades away.

2. when in 2015 Bitcoin 2.0 will come out?

You'll have to explain what you mean.  If you are talking about the 2.0 version of Bitcoin Core, you can forget about it.  It won't be coming out in 2015.

If you are trying to say that there will be some replacement for bitcoin, and you're referring to that replacement as "Bitcoin 2.0", then you'll have to explain which of the thousands of pieces of software that all think they are the "next big thing" you are asking about.

3. Can I use my current Bitcoin mining equipment (Bitmain Antminer s3+) to mine for the new bitcoin 2.0.

Probably not.  By the time Bitcoin Core 2.0 is released (several decades from now) the difficulty will be so high that an Antminer s3+ will be a useless waste of electricity.

That will depend on the market conditions at the time, won't it?

What are you talking about ? Version 2.0 was out 5 years back, its version 100.0 now .
