Facing life in shit-town. Most know the story yet we're all eatin good and have our coins intact he doesn't and the USMS will be flooding the market w/ the rest of them at some point. If you're in the area, show up in Manhattan at the federal building w/ signs saying, "running a website, life in prison"? kinda thing - for prospective jurors to see. They may think they're sending a drug dealer to jail/prison for ~5 years or so, so that's the point of notifying them beforehand to some of the old folks that may be on the jury. Anything else?

Go rampage (discuss) now

Seems good well this might get some highlighting but right now the focus is all on Stamp
So this might just get put off the main radar for a while.

It's a shame. I would say it's more important than an exchange suspending operations.

Except the conspiracy to commit murder charge has no merit...and they know it. Hence why it's not really being pursued.

some female judge ruled last week that the murder plotting  charges have merit and he will have to answer for them .........
google it if you think im lying .........

I think 5 years would be getting off lightly. This is something they care deeply about and they will want to destroy him as an example to others.

And I don't have faith that any average joe will see this other than "super criminal drug baron".

edit: oh, right, this is what you were saying.

I think the best chance is to focus on his political and non-violent beliefs, paint this as a political act. (Which it seems to have been.)

Oh, except the prosecution are wise to that and are trying to restrict him bringing his politics into it.

So...uhhh, NotLambChop...does this guy qualify as a low life "felon" too? You fucking sheep. You know nothing about the country in which you live.

Nah, at this point he's just a clueless douche who didn't do it right & got pwnt.  If convicted of shit he's charged with, then he'll be a felon.
But hey, maybe the judge will overturn the jury conviction, give him an ice cream, & set Ulbricht up with his hawt daughter.  Hope springs eternal Undecided

Im seeing a lot of "If he accepts a last minute plea deal" in the press. 90 plus percent of all Federal criminal cases end up with a plea deal because the fed laws are so tough. Many people will accept a deal that they were totally innocent of to by pass the charge  that has mandatory minimums. Those mandatory minimums are a bitch. Many judges don't like them but they have no choice. But, I have a feeling that this will end up at trial, unless he gets a sweet plea deal.

If I could be, I'd be handing out fliers at the court house. I'll just have to settle with donating to his legal expenses.

I do not think that the 'law' will be kind to him.
