Is there a way to know how many wallets and how many coins are in each wallet for any given coin?

Yes this is basically what i was looking for but for other coins other than bitcoin. Im assuming that it would be the same for all other coins too.

Wanted to understand what info can be obtained from the block chain.

So I'm assuming that every wallet can be listed and every coin can be connected to any given wallet. correct?

Basically yes, its all in the open ledger. But there are coins like Darkcoin that are very good in hiding your transactions so you are actually making anonymous payments.

Also, that site has some more coins as you can see.
