If he can really move some coins in known satoshi addresses, that could be a  proof.
Signing a message would be the only way to verify ownership, sending coins also is good but who's to say its actually him, and you can't include a message in the coins you send unless its on blockchain, but thats a centralized way of adding notes, only blockchain uses that.
Signing a message timestamped, and with his username or real name would be the only way that we could really verify.

Apparently his last post on bitcointalk was in 2011 or so, does anyone know where he went ?
I'm still here just changed name  Grin

Sounds 100% legit  Grin. Seriously, you'll need some street smarts if you're going to stick around here. This forum is full ot scammers and trolls and it's very easy to lose your money. Be careful.

Thanks for all the tips, I was also doing some looking in to his profile.

look around at any thread that contains the name Satoshi. there is always at least one poster who replies that he/she is satoshi. always one line. usually with a smilie too.

report him for shit-posting
