Popular IRC chans on Freenode for altcoins?

Due to EXCL having giveaways at #exclusivecoin and wanting to meet coins community i started using IRC.

I joined also #cryptsy #bittrex #bitcoin #dogecoin channels few times - what are other big and crowded chans out there? I tried to look for btc-e or so but cant find so..

#bittrex is a good one for general altcoin chat, besides that I usually lurk in channels for coins I support: #boolberry, #cryptonite, #cryptonotes, #darknote, #monero, #monero-pools, ##myriadcoin, #vertcoin, and also #poloniex and #cryptorush are ok for general coin chat.

since i feel obligate i will say where i found best chats/giveaways since 90% of chans are just idling

#exclusivecoin - many giveaways and few known members that reply to complicated topics
#dogecoin - alot of talking and tipping, good to just chill there for tips
#bittrex - propably most talkative of all channels
#bitcoin - quiet yet easily to get banned, do not post links
#cryptorush bad exchange but alot of talking

How come cryptorush chat is active when the exchange is closed?

the exchange was reopened by new people.. but all missing funds are missing.

All funds are missing because the original owners let the site get hacked repeatedly (allegedly). The new owners have developed a system to try and repay anyone who had coins on the original exchange in btc. If you had funds on the original site, you don't have much to lose by signing up for an account on the new site and seeing how much they owe you.
