Hi, I bought 1 btc from virwox. It has been 31 hours and they still haven't verified my withdrawal. Do they normally take this long?

It is normal there if you're trying to buy BTC using credit card or Sofortbanking.
But in most cases you can mail the support and they will process it faster. But as I know every order request will be processed within max. 48 hours.

VirWoX (and a couple other Second Life currency resellers) have been hit hard by scams and bad credit cards, where Second Life clawed back the SLL... and since the rule changes by Linden Labs, they aren't even allowed to take SLL deposits anymore. You can only withdraw SLL through their own LindeX exchange.

They try to be as careful as they can be with selling BTC, so delays in withdrawing BTC are normal there.

(BTC wasn't their primary currency. They originally dealt with the various currencies based on the Second Life (and later, OpenSim) worlds, and that has been their primary focus)
