USAA sees bright future for bitcoin technology

USAA sees a bright future in bitcoin, the virtual currency, and is backing up its prognostication with cash.

The San Antonio-based financial company recently took part in a multimillion-dollar investment deal backing bitcoin wallet provider Coinbase.

So is this USAA the bank, or some other piece of the USAA conglomerate?  It would be interesting to see how USAA found their user-base to be more involved with Bitcoin than the average individual.  It would also be interesting to know if this means USAA could be viewed as a Bitcoin-friendly bank.
