Is it possible to mine behind a network firewall?

Would like to try solo mining some altcoins and mining in multialgo pools,
but usual mining ports are restricted on the network.

What are the options in such a situation?

It really depends on the firewall. If you used a pool that has a port 80 option, it might be able to bypass any filters. However, if the firewall does a deep-packet inspection and the packet doesnt look like a http/https packet it may get dropped.

I think it might work through port 80, which pools have that option?
