While reading this thread I just realised something. Previously I was thinking that only so called crypto 2.0 have chance to grow bigger than bitcoin. But now I'm not so sure. The reason is because bitcoin is simple ironed out protocol on top of which 2.0 apps are developed by many companies around the world and they are decentralised. But crytpo 2.0 are centralised in a sense that all applications are inside of that crypto. It is important because if there will be better protocol than bitcoin, then bitcoin 2.0 apps will be able to easily adopt it and move on. But 2.0 altcoins wont be able to do this such easily if at all ...

If you really want to make money, get into the top alt coins right now.
Im not talking petty stuff here, I'm talking making tens of millions with only investing maybe a hundred dollars.
Get in on the action before you miss the boat.

Bitcoin is only going to zero, get your BTC out now and invest in the bright future of your life!

Well another reason is that bitcoin is already adopted by millions of people. Asking themn to switch to a new coin might not work.

Well, in terms of Coin/USD, the altcoins will more or less always be tightly-couple to BTC, I believe! Altcoins may go up compared to Bitcoin, if they really offer any advantages or specific use-cases. I think CLAM could be interesting, just because it seems to have found a unique use-case for gambling. Usage = success.
