Verification is just the mobile number entry?

Is that checked in any way, or does this become an anonymous purchase if a fake mobile number is entered?

That's great news. I recently used an ATM for the first time and realised how important they are for mainstreaming btc.

What are the monthly expenses to live decently good in Thailand? I wonder if some people in this forum could make a living off sig campaings and whatnot and live comfortably there.

what do u mean by 1000$+ is that monthly expenses? I think a looot of developing countries can do with less than that..Im sure if u stay in thailand u can live decently good in less than that amount.

Yes, he means per month.
The biggest decision to make is whether to live in a small town or in a tourist area.
If you're not gonna learn to speak Thai, you're stuck with tourist areas to get yourself understood in shops etc.

In tourist areas, your monthly costs will be up near $1000; outside these areas you would be able to find a comfortable life on half that or less.
