Betting houses are businesses and, of course, want to make money. But when a customer becomes addicted, they eventually stop betting because they no longer have money to spend. In other words, they stop being profitable for the house. Furthermore, no business wants to be known as a place full of addicts; this damages its reputation and, ultimately, drives away other customers. That's my opinion.

Is that not spamming for signature campaign.

In the case of sigspam, i'd rather just contact the campaign manager of the campaign the spammer is enrolled in rather than actually "reporting" the post to the forum admin.

Over the years, i've seen the treshold for labeling a post 'spam' and removing it is quite high for most moderators. Sig campaing managers on the other hand usually don't want spammers in their campaign, so by contacting them directly, the spammer might get kicked from his/her campaign, thus removing his incentive to spam.


EDIT: I've just viewed at the quoted user's post history. I would say it might be an edge case. Most of his posts are one or two lines (or at least, they are short), most don't seem to add all that much to the discussion he's participating in. I don't think any moderator will interfere, but a campaign manager *might*.

Maybe we shouldn't create a thread when users make a mistake? I know many users create messages on their phone by typing them in notes or something. I think this user did the same. If you grasp the meaning of the message, it becomes clear that he made a mistake in the thread and intended to reply to this one.

Why don't you, OP, instead of wasting time creating a new account, write him a private message, or at least quote him so that he corrects his mistake?

Take it easy on me, I did not know it was a mistake, I thought it was a spam. Some people may just like to go to 8th page of a thread to spam was what I thought.

In case of next time, when we see things like this, we can either message the person through PM to correct his error or if its an intentional or deliberate act and not a mistake, then we may choose to report to the moderator, they know what to do accordingly, this is a large community, people are and are posting, some made mistakes unknowingly, while some intended to spam the forum and post whatever they feels like, but to safe ourself form such, we should always report them using the button to the moderator of that same board.

It is very suspicious to me that a new user with only 3 posts is able to detect spam posts or plagiarism? Even a new member who just registered on the forum today is usually a bit suspicious to me for entering the gambling discussion thread.

Judging by the 3 posts he made, I think this is an alternate account trying to disguise himself as a newbie.

I would suggest you, instead of creating such a thread in the future, click the report button and report it to the moderator.

You should make use of the report to moderator button if you find a particular post you see as a spam or unnecessary post. Other members here have also suggested some possible things you could do. Nonetheless I think it's better if you had just made this post with your real account and not an alt account.

It's high time people here had the esteem of if you can't post something with your main account don't bother posting it at all. I think you've gotten good replies about it already and I suggest you lock the thread to avoid spams too.

Account created today is reporting spam from the gambling board, I don't know which magic you used to understand the forum so fast to know where to post and exactly what to post. In addition, you already know about signature campaigns which further make me wonder how smart a newbie we have in you. When I joined this forum, I was confused at first, not knowing where to start or what to do and it took me weeks if not months before understanding certain things about this forum. Here we have a prodigy who mastered the forum in one day.

Meanwhile to report spam, there is an option written "report to moderator" below every post in the forum, that should do.

Why not just use this button instead and let the moderators take care of the rest?
In my opinion, there couldn't exist any simpler way than this!
If that person indeed breaking any rules and spamming the forum, when reported correctly his posts will get nuked.

From my own and point I think you are also spamming and you don't read things before creating topic to ask questions. You want to report post knowing too well that in every post made on any sections below right hand side you would always see the "report to moderator" and you won't say that you didn't see that option since you love to report people's post for spamming. You need to understand how things works effectively before jumping into conclusions that someone is spamming and you should also find yourself in a better position to read some unofficial and official rules of the forum to enable you remain guarded on what to do and not to do.

Instead of looking for thread to report the user as spammer, don’t you think it’s just better to just report the post to moderator, and they will be able to take down the post. It’s obvious this is not your main account, because I don’t think newbies will be here targeting spammer. How will you create  account on August 19,  and the first thing which you did was to report a account, it’s better you post with your main account, if you don’t  have anything to hide also.

I went through your post history, you have created just 5 posts, and I don’t see anything special in those posts which you created, and I just reported your post to moderator as a spam also. Maybe the main reason why you created the account is just to use it to report people maybe you going to earn merit by reporting people.
