Interesting... I heard nothing but horror stories. Are there other users that can share positive Xapo debit card experience? I have one and I like it. I used it to buy a Google Developer account on the Chrome Web Store, paid for AliExpress purchases and did an ATM withdrawal just to test it out. Well, I just got home from a weekend with my girlfriend and guess what I find? A letter from Xapo containing my card. It's a VISA debit card (like I expected) and it looks quite nice. I just activated it, which was easy to do once you get the hang of it. I will try to do an in-store transaction tomorrow, let's see how it goes. I got my Xapo debit card without being fully registered. Yes, I had to fill in my basic details, but they never requested an ID. I have used the Xapo debit card and it works great, just like their app. Their website? Not so much. It's very confusing (for example the buying Bitcoins part) and sometimes so slow that I have to login again before I can do something, which is quite annoying.
All my support questions have always been answered within 24 hours so I'm a happy customer at Xapo.

Debit card no preloaded balance at this time. It's a physical card that works online and offline (verified to work with Paypal, Amazon Prime & Netflix)

We love Bitcoin! We can't look further forward to using bitcoin as a mean of purchasing everywhere! Bitcoin Debit Cards provides an extrordinary way of using bitcoin; it is not only fast but easy and simple. There were some bitcoin debit providers, such as Diamond Circle, Cryptex, and Coinjelly, which are no longer available. Meanwhile, in 2015, there are 4 main bitcoin debit card providers which are available internationally without geographical limits on residency or spending.,Xapo, ANX, BitPlastic, and Wagecan- a potential star. Let's take a colser look at why Wagecan, such a freshman in the bitcoin industry, is referred to as a potential star by comparing Wagecan to the rest of the major BTC debit cards providers available on the market nowadays below. Basic review: Xapo https://xapo.com/Xapo is incorporated in Hong Kong and is based in Palo Alto. In addition to issuing Bitcoin debit cards, Xapo also provides wallets and cold storage. WageCan https://www.wagecan.comWageCan was founded and registered in Seychelles, and based in California and Taiwan. WageCan provides a bitcoin wallet with interest and bitcoin debit card. ANX https://anxpro.com/ANX was established in July 2013 and is legally registered and based in Hong Kong. ANX is Bitcoin exchange platforms. BitPlastic https://bitplastic.com/BitPlastic was based in Russia and did not provide any further information reg is the most mysterious one. Its debit could be used at POS, ATM, and online without identification being verified. However its limitations and fees are unfriendly. Fees providers of bitcoin debit cards are charging the planned, one-time ordering fee, and potential charges will vary based on your card usage, such as a lost card replacement fee, ATM withdrawal fees and Foreign Exchange fees. see comparison below for more information. Thanks for reaching out Just want to clarify our fees of charges Basically we do have 2 kinds of ANX Debit Cards, which are the ANX PLUS and ANX PREMIUM. For the Card Currency, it supports fiat currencies AUD, CAD, GBP, CHF, EUR, HKD, JPY, CNY, NZD, SGD and USD. ANX PLUS ANX PREMIUMMaximum Card Balance HK $50,000 USD $50,000 ATM Withdrawals No Limit, Subject to limits on local ATM US $1000, Subject to limits on local ATM Cost of ATM Withdrawals HK $30 1%, Min. Where did you get the info that the limit for ANX card is 3k. It s 50k.
However, I would also wait for Bit-x card. Based on my experience with them, this company s very professional. Great exchange, nice cloud mining option, excellent sig campaign. I hope the card ll be great as well.

Bitcoin debit card is the most practical way of spending bitcoin IMO. Would very much like to have one, but the fees are a tad high. We need more competition to drive fees down. Wait for BIT-X's MasterCard coming in April! is it anonymous? Where did you get the info that the limit for ANX card is 3k. It s 50k.

Wagecan definite scam? Xapo is ridiculous, anyone willing to use it?
Hell no Indeed looking at that table its not worth it Assuming the others don't run away with the assets at a later date of course, although the table did need an update as the Xapo affiliate mentioned This seems like a good thread to keep track of since debit cards are becoming more common in Bitcoin now, still fairly limited in terms of selection but it is progress. Xapo debit card:Maximum card balance: There is no maximum. You can spend directly anything you have in your main wallet. ATM withdrawals: $400 if you dont provide any ID or proof of address. Goes up to $2000/day as soon as you provide this info POS purchases: Up to $2500 without ID/address. Goes up to unlimited when you provide this info Monthly fee: Was removed in September last year. We pay this for our users Note that we are not a preloaded card. Meaning you dont need to spend btc and load fiat onto the card. We withdraw bitcoins and load those funds in fiat onto the card immediately when the card is swiped. The rest is correct. Let me know if I can clarify anything else
