There does not seem to be a place for requests like this, even a place that indicates what is "currently" supported or what technical challenges still need to be addressed.

Code:

I'd like the account activity for cheako911 to be imported into cheako, effectively deleting cheako911.

I know this may be asking a lot, perhaps even the impossible.  By account activity I'm lost for words, there was a point in doing this...  Like to avoid getting hit by the rate limiting features.

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

It is not possible to merge accounts on this forum.

What are the challenges for doing so?

Is it only a matter of not having a function for doing so or is the issue that none of the existing functions meet certain requirements?

It's not a challenge because this is nothing more that some datas in a sql database but this feature is not included in SMF (the software running this forum) and I don't think theymos will take some time to add something like this (ie: adding this feature to this forum) or to do it manually (ie : special queries in the database to merge accounts or activities).

My point exactly, see how easy it is to go from "Impossible." to "Where did I put that 20 line script."  It might be faster to just write it again.

My point exactly, it's not "impossible to do" but there isn't any tools / features for this and we don't provide merge options to members here so it won't happen.

Feel free to send a PM to theymos or BadBear about that, but I doubt you will get a positive answer!
