If you would like you can update BitcoinPoker.gg status with this information:

Android: Even though our poker software does work on android browser we do NOT have an Android specific app
GNU/Linux (desktop client): We do NOT have a Linux desktop client
OSX (desktop client): We do NOT have an OSX Desktop client
Windows (.exe): We do NOT have a Windows desktop client

Our poker software is currently web based only and supports HTML5 which should be compatible with ALL popular browsers.

Thanks.

Thanks, I'll check that out.  Of course, this forum is more central to bitcoin than any other, IMO, so it'd be good to have this info here, if possible.

BTW, I was pretty sure that when I signed into your site the other day to register for today's freeroll, that I had to activate flash in order to see your site.  Perhaps, I recall incorrectly, however.  Pretty soon, I'm going to break out that "browser" column into flash vs html5.  Thanks to you!

Thanks, I'll do so if I get around to it.  However, if you try it out and can give me an idea what they offer then I'll just add it based on what you report.

I should put some kind of caveat in the OP that the info there is not guaranteed to be correct, it's just what people have told me.

The poker software itsself is HTML5 and will work on any popular browser, including PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android.

Our website does not use flash at all but is mostly coded in PHP/CSS/Javascript.

Well, I can send you some screenshots that suggest otherwise Smiley

I happen to have flash turned off in my browser so when a site tries to use flash (even just to set a flash cookie) I get a banner at the top that says "activate adobe flash?".  I get that on your site and if I don't activate it then I don't see several of the windows.

Also, the site didn't work at all in the latest firefox for linux even after activating flash (I could sign in, but the lobby never loaded).  However, all seems to work fine in chromium. I played the freeroll there, but lost to a full house with an ace high flush pretty early on.  Had fun!

Let me know if you want more info about the flash thing and the issues on firefox.  I'd be happy to try to help out.

Hmmm interesting. Yes I would like as much information as you can provide me about that issue. If you could please email support@bitcoinpoker.gg with all the details, it would be much appreciated.

Must have been someone else, this guy had the boat after the flop.  (226---his hole cards 8,6).  I sorta figured that he did, but with an ace high flush and on a freeroll, I had to call the shove just to see for myself. Smiley

Yeah, it was me, if I remember correctly your username is tsp? And I was gonna throw away that hand but since the blinds were low I decided to play and made a full boat. Cheesy

I guess that's part of the fun of freerolls.  There's definitely a special risk-to-reward ratio that just isn't there when you're playing with your own money.  I call a lot of bets that I wouldn't otherwise call.  Basically, bluffing in a freeroll is tough unless you're at a particularly timid table.

bluffing in a freeroll? not a chance I think it work because basically with free money, most person tend to not control their emotion and simply all in whenever they "think" they get a good card, it is different if you play with your own money

Yah, I didn't have time to keep up with it.  And, since I only have GNU/Linux and basically there's not really any love for me, I have a hard time testing the sites that do exist.  I'd happily hand this thread over to someone more motivated if such a person comes along.

It is good to have a thread where players can discuss ongoing action at the various sites. An alternative to the site-dedicated threads that don't really welcome comparisons to and discussion of other sites.

I float around quite a bit among the different btc poker sites. Currently I play cash at the new Bovada entity 'Ignition Poker,' that recently began accepting bitcoin deposits and withdrawals. I also play larger FR at Nitrogen and Fortunejack. Sometimes I will play cash at Nitrogen. At some point I'd like to hit the FJ cash tables again ... there is only so much time in the day. Anyway, I'll play cash at all three of these sites. Still like to check into SWC from time to time ... but my visits are irregular.

For sure, if you want to start a new thread and manage it, I'll close this one and link to your new thread.  I just don't have enough time or info to properly manage such a thread myself.
