Hello Guys,

I'm an ECC Supporter, nevertheless i'm a little worry about a few things.

This coin is developping since 2014 and is still very low.

- The team appear to be very very little no ? ( How many devs and other persons are working on the project ?).
- Do you think ecc payments has a real "futur" since there is other currencies like Dash, Ltc, Xmr, DGB ?
- Do you plan to reach big companies / investors in order to use ECC ?
- Do you plan tu make any rebranding ? Yeah, a rebranding can help a lot...and i'm afraid ECC ( E-Currency coin) sounds too geekly....It has been proven than a "cool name" is very important...


Please don't read my message as bad, i have 800 000 ECC and plan to hold it 2-3 years but i'm a little afraid about this coin/ambition...i'm afraid it will be only a coin for a few geek

What are your ambitions with this coin ?

The new daemons are on the website ( https://www.ecc.network) and ready for download. This is version 0.2.5.4. This is a manditory upgrade. You will not be on the right chain if you do not upgrade.

When you download this daemon, YOU MUST resync your wallet from scratch. i would recommend deleting every file in your eccoin folder except:
peers.dat
wallet.dat
eccoin.conf

if you are unsure where to find these files, they are at the following locations:
linux: ~/.eccoin
windows: C:\Users\[your computers username]\AppData\Roaming\eccoin

Yes can happen when the wallet generates some blocks, no problem at all

It is type a password and under the password any time in seconds...100000

You can try to stop the daemon in the console and then start it again, that sometimes helps

Settings->Debug->console then type stop -> enter

Since the new wallet is now released, what is the next step we are aiming for?
I saw some time ago an alpha version of the data storage, is there still being worked on?

Now the problems for the daemon seem to be resolved, there are people working on the gui to update that too.

The work on the File Storage will now be our main focus in development, as that is the next item on the Road Map.

We expect that CoinExchange will put the wallet online in the next coming days, also the BlockExplorer has the newest version running. Once Coin Exchange has the wallet up and running, we will start to apply for other exchanges to add ECC.

The information about the new exchanges will be announced in the Slack community first and updated in the OP as soon as we have confirmation from the Exchanges. We are not going to speculate which exchanges it will be, you will be informed when it is confirmed.

One small changed that has been made today, the repo for the gui has been changed, it is now under

Lynx is the new name of the gui program. its just the name, nothing else is changed with it (except for the improvements that have been asked for)
