A friend, maybe I do not know much in this life, but even school knowledge provide an opportunity to assess what is happening around us, and even in space, because each person has a basic knowledge of this. As you said. SPACE. Flat earth people live in two dimensions... mentally if not really.  If we take into account the direction of this question with humor, we all live a double life, and from this are in double space at the same time and so to say that one does not understand the other, it's too funny. |

This is the way ancient Hebrews thought regarding their life, not regarding things they didn't know about. Even nowadays, over in the Middle east, people use events to find dates, not dates to find events. They simply have a different kind of thinking over there. Their thinking revolves around their life. When thinking revolves around your humble life, you look up and see the dome of your thinking. Sometimes it has the moon and stars. Sometimes it has the sun. Sometimes clouds. When you look around yourself at the earth, you see a general flatness, because you need this to plant your crops and raise your farm animals. The hill country of Judea made people think a little... about more than simply their humble lives. The mountains of Lebanon were a gift of God to get the people to realize that there was more to existence than simply their humble lives. Scientists of today recognize the things that God was directing the ancient Israel people toward. Ancient Israel was stubborn of heart, and didn't want to see anything except their simple, humble lives. But now they know that the earth isn't flat. |
