Flat earth has a lot of stuff that, at first glance, might be considered reasonably accurate. But when it is thoroughly investigated, there isn't enough to make the particular point being investigated into a theory, let alone to say it is truly factual.

Flat earth isn't strong enough scientifically to even begin to make it into a theory, let alone to suggest that it is true. Flat earthers are simply creating a religion for themselves. They want to go back to the Dark Ages, before it was commonly known that the earth is round.

It appears that the flat-earther's figures are based on sun elevation data at just two particular latitudes, perhaps even Eratosthenes' values. flat earthers may have picked these out of some book, and when the calculation was finished, they looked no further. For if they had done the calculation with a variety of latitudes, including large latitude differences, conflicting results would have been obtained.

For two towns having latitudes within about 30° of each other, reasonably consistent results are obtained. But when larger baselines are used, the triangulation would give a much smaller distance to the sun. For a 70° latitude difference the distance to the sun comes out less than half that for a 10° difference.

How about airplanes and earth satellites in orbit around a flat earth. And what about airliners going around the earth? What about earth satellites? They are merely traveling in loop orbits. What makes them do this? Flat-earthers do not say. Flat-earthers shun any form of gravitational force. They consider gravity to be a mystical or occult idea. Things fall, they say, simply because they are heavy—no other explanation is needed. What about the moon flights and the pictures from space showing a round planet. It's must all be a hoax, an elaborate movie production.

According to Wikipedia, Cavendish was able to measure a torsion force of 1.74E-7 Newtons due to the apparent gravitational attraction of the metal balls. The article then says that this is equivalent to the weight of a "large grain of sand (13mg)". When you do the actual calculation, however, you get  0.000000174/9.81 = 1.8E-8 kg or 0.018mg which is 722 times less than the large grain of sand.
I brought this up at a popular online Physics Forum and they agreed my calculations were correct. When I told them I didn’t believe it was possible to measure such a tiny force given the friction in the apparatus, and gave them a reference*,  the entire thread was removed due to “Unacceptable references or topics”. Believe it or not.

The youtube source you have there is just some random internet guy pointing out that it is hard to reproduce Cavendish's experiment especially when using improper equipment. That tiny little reproduction shown is nothing like the setup Cavendish used.

Others later repeated the experiment, using similar apparatus, and for almost a century no one achieved any improvement over Cavendish’s original measurement.
